two days ago on my internet tool bar…suddenly five links just appeared which says,
‘Cutomize Links’
………………………… ‘Free Hotmail’
‘Windows’
………………………….’Window marketplace’
and …. ‘Windows Media’..

…i have not downloaded or installed anything on my computer for these to appear..

..Could it be a Virus which has disguised itself as a toolbar
OR prehaps a hacker which has placed it onto my computer??

i have not clicked on any links just incase it where to upload anything nasty.
But what could it be…and how did it get onto my computer??

It’s not a virus, there isn’t anything to worry about, those links are installed on Internet Explorer Links by default. Right click on a gray blank area on the toolbar and un-check Links and they will disappear.

Use Kaspersky online scanner, and mcafee online scanner, as well as your installed scanner. If you dont have one get a good free one online.

Click the green button and enter add/edit. Change the layout or remove the items there.
