Does the Simon Property Group have a problem with free speech?
I thought capitalists believed in "the marketplace of ideas". I guess Melvin Simon does not. I think I’ll find out what malls he owns, so that I can avoid them. I’ll buy my T-Shirts elsewhere.

They (the owners of Simon Property Grp) did shut down the tea party over 7/4. Why? He is one of the largest contributors to Obama money wise. Sad, very very sad indeed. I just wonder "IF" Obama himself had someone from his administration calling the shots here. Would be the typical Chicago thug style politics. Just saying
You could google it online to see if he owns anymore buildings in your area.

Free speech doesn’t extend to private property. As such, Melvin Simon is in the clear. Governments do not make the call as to whether or not protests can be held on privately owned (and taxed) property.
In terms of the shop owner in North Carolina, he was way late on his rent. Why didn’t they ask for PUBLIC space to protest?
